To make payments on your TWH account or your scout’s THW account, you are always welcome to bring cash or check to the next meeting and hand it to me directly or to a Scout Leader who can make sure that it finds me. Checks should be made out to Troop 217.
If you are like me, and have a hard time finding checks in this day and age, you can also pay online through Troop Web Host, via PayPal. To pay on Troop Web Host, you’ll want to access the portal by clicking Menu>My Stuff>My Money>On-Line Payments>Begin a New Payment. Identify the amount and account you’re paying towards, then click continue and Buy Now (this will prompt final payment). Please note, you do NOT need to have a PayPal account in order to pay on PayPal, you can simply pay by credit/debit card as a guest. PayPal is just our payment processing system. Payment fees on PayPal are approximately 3.9% of the total payment, so you can consider it a convenience charge, but please note that you are always welcome to bring cash or check to a meeting to avoid any associated fees.
Given that I have to reconcile all processed payments manually in the TWH system, please allow 7-10 days for it to be reflected on your account. If that time has lapsed, don’t hesitate to reach out.
